Sports and entertainment complex
We developed a navigation system within the interior that also became a corporate style for the new sports and entertainment complex in club hotel Voskresenskoye.
One of the goals was not merely creating a convenient system for navigation indoors, but also positioning the complex as a venture that was independent from the hotel and rendering services to the hotel guests and residents of Voskresenskoye and nearby settlements alike. Therefore, in the design, we drifted as far away as possible from the current corporate style of Voskresenskoye club hotel.
The navigation system was based on vivid colors that were supposed to help the visitors to find their way around and create a special emotional setting. Pictograms and movement direction signs in the form of supergraphics were applied directly onto the walls. The system of lines coding the complex’ functional areas became a convenient and interesting supplement to the navigation, as the lines meant services and acted as route signs.
While working on the project, we primarily went by the existing architectural features – specifically, combined with a rather small floor area of the facility, narrow and long corridors were giving the sense of a gloomy labyrinth.
